The purpose of the Investment Compartment is to carry on the business of an investor and in particular but without limitation to identify, research, negotiate, make and monitor the progress of and sell, realise, exchange or distribute investments which shall include but shall not be limited to the purchase, subscription, acquisition, sale and disposal of shares, debentures, equity-related convertible loans, stock and other securities and other source of financing whether secured or unsecured to such companies, in connection with investments in equity or equity related investments and investments in debt or debt related instruments, provided always that investments in debt or debt related instruments may only be made in conjunction with equity or equity related investments. The targeted objective of the Investment Compartment is to provide the Fund’s investors with a target investment return of money multiple exceeding 3. To realize this objective, ZCF II SUB-FUND A will target investment deals that may have the potential to provide gross IRR in excess of 35% and a money multiple over 4, over the 10-year period of the Fund. The ZCF II SUB-FUND A in order to implement its investment strategies may invest in highly illiquid investments or products which entail high risks. There is no guarantee that the investment objective of the Investment Compartment will be achieved and investment results may vary substantially over time. There is also elevated risk that the investments of the fund may not perform well and as a result the fund and its unit holders may suffer significant losses.
